Whether it’s your child or your inner child, healing is possible and deserved. Growth is often not easy, but it is rewarding. Let’s get started.
Whether it’s your child or your inner child, counseling is a place to grow and heal. While it may not be easy, it is rewarding. Let’s heal.
I believe that you have done everything you can think to do up to this point. I see you. I also see where you can be. I am excited to walk with you as we recognize the journey so far and work together to plan for your better future.
Whether you're new to therapy or a lifelong vet, change doesn't happen overnight. I meet you where you are. We move at a speed that both encourages your growth and honors the work that you are ready to do.
Beyond my education and experience, my genuine care for clients is the most impactful part of our work together. I connect with you person to person, and bring my authenticity, warmth, and enthusiasm to the therapy space.
Alexandria, known as Ali, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with experience helping children, teens, adults and families. She is qualified to counsel for a variety of challenges, with a special interest in helping navigate trauma, self-harm, anxiety, LGBTQ+ concerns, and parenting. Ali also enjoys working with parents, teachers, and high school and college students. Ali also continues to work with children of parents in the helping professions.
As a native Texan, Ali was born and raised in the Houston area where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Houston Clear Lake (UHCL) with aspirations of pursuing a career in helping others. While working full-time in education, she completed a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University (LU). Through this journey, Ali was provided invaluable experiences with children and families and how the right person can make an impact on an individual’s life.
Ali believes that self-growth is a life-long opportunity if only we choose to embrace it. We can break cycles that have been rooted in our history with the right tools for healing.
Beyond her role as counselor, Ali is also a big sister, daughter, wife and fur mama. She enjoys time with her family, reading a good book, coffee, attending sporting events and learning something new every day.
