Throughout the highs and lows, we experience different emotions. Sometimes they can be confusing, difficult to process, or even difficult to identify. Therapy can help.

This is the next step in your journey. Let’s get started.

We can heal.

Creative

I'm a firm believer that effective therapy is what works for you. I use evidence-based techniques, but I'm also not afraid to try something new. Your life experience is unique, so your counseling experience will be, too.

Determined

Whether you're excited to begin therapy or you view therapy as a last resort, I want to help. I have seen some tough cases and don't give up easily. There will always be one of us in the room that sees hope.

Genuine

I truly care for and connect with each client. I believe your healing comes from a balance of challenge and support. Need compassion? You've got it. Accountability? It's on the way. I want you to win, and we will celebrate each time.

my bio

Jinelle is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with experience helping kiddos, teens, adults, and families. Jinelle is qualified to counsel for a variety of challenges, with a special interest in helping clients navigate anxiety, relationships, parenting and grief. Jinelle also enjoys working with single parents, women who “do it all,” and families of children with disabilities.

Jinelle believes that change is possible through changing the thought process. While change may not be easy right away, the desire for change is a great start.

Through her own life experience and the realization that some need help to process what is happening in life, Jinelle developed an interest in counseling.  Born in the Virgin Islands, but raised in Baytown, Texas, Jinelle has a special passion for breaking stigmas about mental health in the Black and Caribbean community. Understanding the barriers many face in pursuing therapy, she hopes to provide space and opportunities for all individuals to heal.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Houston. Jinelle has always had a passion to help others which led to her experience early on as a tutor, teacher, and youth leader. After many years of working with children who have disabilities and their parents, Jinelle gained an understanding of the significance of the family connection and went on to earn her Master of Science in Psychology and most recently, a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health.

When she’s not in the therapy room, Jinelle is spending time with family or shopping. She loves to relax with coffee and music.
