Juanita has the education and experience to help clients navigate variety of challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She especially enjoys helping clients navigate grief, meaning of life, and immigration stress.
Juanita follows the philosophy of Viktor Frankl: “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”
Juanita has a master’s degree in psychology and is finishing her second master’s in Mental Health and Counseling. As a trilingual therapist (speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese), Juanita provides individual couples, family, and group counseling. She also facilitates workshops on anxiety, depression, and grief.
Juanita loves to create different experiences for clients to empower them to become their best version in life. She enjoys running, acrylic painting, cooking, reading, watching TV, and traveling.
