We can’t always find the positive. Life is often hard. When we don’t see a solution to the situation, we can seek a solution within it.

Let’s begin the search together.

In pain, we can find power.

my counseling philosophy

Holistic

You are a whole person with a past, present and future. I care about where you've been, where you are, and where you're going. I work to understand and honor you, your identities, and your values, which all have a connection and relevance to your overall wellbeing.

Collaborative

From the initial session to the last, I empower clients by involving them in the therapy process. Therapy has to work for you, so we work together to establish goals and solutions. To ensure you truly receive the best care, I also consult with our team of other talented therapists.

Dedicated

I literally moved across the country for the opportunity to work with people from the communities I am passionate about serving. I bring that same energy to session. I believe you deserve more, and we will work together to get it. I bring in my research, training, and creativity.

my bio

As a counselor intern, Peace has experience supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and families in individual and group counseling. She is qualified to help clients navigate a variety of challenges, including trauma, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and identity concerns. Peace especially enjoys working with immigrants, first-generation students, LGBTQIA clients, and clients navigating racial trauma.

Originally from Liberia, Peace has been in the U.S. since the age of nine and attained her bachelor’s degree in communication and sociology. She recently located from the Midwest to Dallas and is pursuing her master’s in clinical mental health counseling.

Peace believes that, in today’s climate, we are confronted with stressful concerns, traumas, and challenges daily that are difficult to deal with on our own. Peace wants to assist clients in navigating these difficulties and determining long-term solutions to recover, feel good, and be their best selves. She uses an integrated approach that both honors how the past has influenced one’s beliefs and relationships and also works with clients to shift present behavior and thoughts.

Outside of counseling, Peace enjoys creating new recipes and sharing them with her family. She’s also a nature nut, spending most of her weekends hiking or playing water sports.
