ABOUT ME

The Parents' Therapist

I’m a nature girlie, curious soul who loves learning, exploring, traveling, and experiencing the world with an open mind and heart. I proudly embrace life as a sports mommy, learning to balance showing up for my family while also showing up for myself and honoring my own needs and growth. I enjoy all genres of music, but my heart will always have a special place in the ’90s. I’m an overthinker in the best way, always curious and open to different perspectives. I’m learning to give myself grace as I navigate perfectionism and embrace getting started without needing everything to be just right.

How I Can Support You

CLINICAL AREAS I OFTEN SUPPORT

I MAY BE AN ESPECIALLY GOOD FIT FOR

01First-generation healers who show up for everyone else but struggle to show up for themselvesRead whyClose

Through my trauma-informed, grief, and anxiety-focused training, I recognize that choosing to heal can bring unexpected challenges including understanding of the difficulties that come with being a first-generation healer. When you choose to show up for yourself, you may experience a shift in relational dynamics. As you grow, establish boundaries, and begin to unlearn familiar patterns, relationships may shift, and you may find yourself grieving the closeness, expectations, or connections that once felt familiar. I understand that healing is not only about what you are working through internally, but also about navigating who and what changes around you. I aim to support clients through these transitions as they learn to honor their growth, make room for the grief that can accompany change, and build a life that feels more aligned with who they are becoming.

02Parents who sit in the car for five extra minutes just to have a moment of peaceRead whyClose

I bring generational and cultural awareness to my work with parents who are navigating the emotional weight of working through healing while navigating parenting. I recognize how family patterns, cultural expectations, and beliefs passed down through generations can influence how we parent, cope with stress, and show up in relationships. My trauma-informed, grief, and anxiety-focused training further informs my understanding of how past experiences can affect the present. I strive to support parents as they work to break unhealthy cycles, honor the parts of their upbringing that matter to them, and create new patterns that align with how they want to show up in their every day lives.

03People who are so used to chaos that peace feels uncomfortableRead whyClose

My trauma-informed, grief, and anxiety-focused training informs my approach to working with individuals who have become accustomed to chaos, unpredictability, or living in survival mode. I have learned to recognize how trauma, loss, and anxiety can overpower client’s sense of safety, emotional regulation, and ability to thrive with a healthier lens. I strive to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore these patterns, build emotional awareness, develop healthier coping skills, and begin to experience peace and consistency without feeling overwhelmed by the unfamiliar.

MY APPROACH

Empowering. Compassionate. Real.

I believe therapy should be a space where you can finally exhale, let your guard down, and show up exactly as you are. Being able to lose the fear of judgment or pressure to have it all figured out is key. You spend so much time being strong, showing up for others, and holding everything together. Here, you get to show up for yourself with my support.
