CLINICAL AREAS I OFTEN SUPPORT
I MAY BE AN ESPECIALLY GOOD FIT FOR
Maybe you’re tired of people-pleasing, struggling with boundaries, or finding yourself repeating the same cycles in relationships. You’re ready to better understand yourself and make meaningful changes.
My Training & Preparation
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my training has prepared me to help individuals explore the connection between their thoughts, emotions, past experiences, and behaviors. I focus on building self-awareness, developing healthy boundaries, and helping clients recognize patterns that may be keeping them stuck.
My Experience
I’ve worked with individuals struggling with people-pleasing, low self-worth, difficult family dynamics, and unhealthy relationship patterns. My experience has shown me that recognizing a pattern is often just the beginning. Learning how to respond differently takes intentionality, patience, and a willingness to do the work.
Why This Work Matters to Me
I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to grow beyond the patterns they’ve learned or experienced. There’s something powerful about watching someone find their voice, recognize their worth, and realize they have permission to make different choices. I love helping people understand that growth isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about becoming a healthier version of themselves.
Whether you’re experiencing communication difficulties, marital conflict, emotional disconnection, or challenges within your family, you want to feel understood while learning how to build healthier relationships.
My Training & Preparation
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator, I have training that supports my work with couples and individuals navigating relationship challenges. My approach emphasizes healthy communication, emotional connection, conflict resolution, and understanding how individual experiences influence the way we show up in relationships.
My Experience
I’ve worked with individuals and couples navigating marital difficulties, communication breakdowns, emotional disconnection, trust concerns, and complicated family dynamics. I understand that relationships can be challenging, especially when people struggle to communicate their needs or understand one another’s perspectives. I help clients identify what’s happening beneath the surface and explore healthier ways to connect.
Why This Work Matters to Me
I believe healthy relationships are built through intentionality, mutual respect, accountability, and a willingness to understand one another. I’m passionate about helping people recognize that being heard and understood matters, but so does learning how to listen, communicate, and take responsibility for the ways we impact others. Relationships don’t have to be perfect to be meaningful, but they should provide room for honesty, growth, and emotional safety.
You don’t have to have everything figured out. If you’re willing to explore your emotions, challenge unhealthy patterns, and take steps toward meaningful change, we may be a great fit. I offer compassion and support, but I’ll also encourage accountability and personal growth.
My Training & Preparation
My counseling education and professional training have prepared me to support individuals navigating emotional challenges, life transitions, and personal development. I take a collaborative, person-centered approach that allows clients to explore their experiences at their own pace while developing practical skills to manage emotions, build confidence, and work toward their goals.
My Experience
Through my work in school counseling and private practice, I’ve supported individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress, and uncertainty about their next steps. I’ve learned that people don’t always come to therapy knowing exactly what’s wrong or what needs to change. Sometimes the first step is simply having a safe space to talk, process, and begin making sense of what they’re experiencing.
Why This Work Matters to Me
I genuinely enjoy helping people discover that they don’t have to have life completely figured out to begin moving forward. I believe growth happens one intentional step at a time, and sometimes the smallest changes create the greatest impact. My goal is to provide a space where you can show up exactly as you are, feel supported through the uncomfortable moments, and gain the confidence to navigate life with greater clarity and purpose.
