The first place we begin to lose the battle is in our minds, and every day is a new opportunity to win. I’m your new partner on the battlefield.

Reclaim your life. Reset your mind.

my counseling philosophy

Compassionate

I haven't been in your exact situation, but I know what it's like to want to feel better. I believe you deserve more and I want to help you get it. I listen, validate, and work with you to move forward in a way that honors you and your unique journey.

Honest

You probably aren't seeking counseling just to have your therapist nod along. While there may be some nodding, I will always (kindly) give you the truth. Together, we will recognize your potential blind spots as well as strengths you may be overlooking.

Respectful

I bring my professional experience and you bring your lifelong experience of you. I see you as an equal partner in our work, and I respect you. Whatever your background, identity, or story, you are affirmed here as we navigate your concerns together.

my bio

Shauna is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families in individual and group counseling. She is qualified to counsel for a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and life transitions. Shauna especially enjoys working with teachers, parents, adolescents, and young adults.

Beyond her role as a counselor, Shauna is a wife, sister, daughter, and friend. She loves reading, interior design, iced coffee, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
