Shauna is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families in individual and group counseling. She is qualified to counsel for a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and life transitions. Shauna especially enjoys working with teachers, parents, adolescents, and young adults.
Born and raised in Texas, Shauna earned her Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences from Texas A&M – Texarkana. While working full-time in the technology field, she began to pursue her longtime dream of becoming a therapist and completed her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Shauna is a firm believer in the power of one’s thoughts and how they inevitably impact one’s life. How you think impacts how you feel, which ultimately influences one’s behaviors/actions. The first place we begin to lose the battle is in our minds, and every day is a new chance to win.
Beyond her role as a counselor, Shauna is a wife, sister, daughter, and friend. She loves reading, interior design, iced coffee, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
