  • Who I Am

I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, where I developed a deep appreciation for the importance of family, culture, and community. I enjoy reading, gardening, curating Spotify playlists, and staying active on my Peloton. I share my life with my three dogs (Tyson, Posty, Kenny), a cat (Lipa), and my fiancé, a U.S. Marine veteran who shares my passion for mental health advocacy.

  • What I Do

I am particularly passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families, using a strengths-based and affirming approach to help them thrive. I enjoy working with teens, emerging adults, and parents, ensuring that all clients feel seen and supported. As a LGBTQ+ affirming counselor, I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for clients from all walks of life, especially those from marginalized communities.

  • Why I Do It

As someone who belongs to marginalized communities, I understand firsthand the importance of inclusion and representation. I believe in the power of understanding, acceptance, and tailored support to transform lives. Whether I'm working with a neurodivergent child, a family navigating new challenges, or an individual exploring their identity, my goal is always the same: to foster an environment where everyone feels valued, understood, and empowered to grow.

MY APPROACH

Selecting the right therapist is important and we know it. Here's a bit about my vibe.

Compassionate

I will approach you with empathy and understanding, creating with you a safe and non-judgmental space to freely explore your thoughts and emotions. I want you to feel heard and understood.Together, we can help you embrace vulnerability and ultimately experience meaningful growth.

Inclusive

I am deeply committed to equality and inclusivity, ensuring that all clients feel seen and valued. I will celebrate and honor you, and that includes all your identities and backgrounds whether racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, socioeconomic, gender, sexual, or ability-related. I aim to empower you to explore and embrace their authentic selves.

Flexible

Because I believe no two clients are exactly alike, I adapt my approach to meet your unique needs. I also recognize that progress is not always linear—your path is likely to include growth, challenges, setbacks, and breakthroughs along the way. I remain open-minded and creative to adjust therapy to address your goals, needs, and preferences even as they change.

AREAS OF FOCUS

I am qualified to counsel on a variety of challenges. Below are just a few areas I help clients with most.

Anxiety

Whether lifelong or a recent experience, this may look like worrying a lot, struggling with intrusive thoughts, and/or often feeling restless.

Depression

More than just "feeling sad," depression can look different for each person. You may isolate, lack motivation, or have trouble enjoying things. Or you may appear to be doing well but suffering silently.

LGBTQIA+ Concerns

LGBTQIA+ folks face some of the same difficulties as other folks but also have unique challenges best navigated with a therapist who gets it.

Emerging Adults (18-29)

Early adulthood is full of transition. Decisions about the path to take –whether to enter the workforce, start a business or to attend college – and who you are becoming add a number of stressors, particularly for those blazing a new path for their lineage.
